For the record. Had google email account already but had never explored further. Found it easy to set up iGoogle page though had some trouble deciding on gadgets.
Gadgets I chose: Facebook; Google News; Wikipedia; BBC Weather; BBC Sport; Art of the Day; YouTube; Bookmarks; Google map search
Looks a bit cluttered now but will work on this as I discover what's useful and what's not. Shan't change settings to make it my homepage as I work on shared computers.
